David LeanÕs final film as a director, the 1984 Best Picture nominee ÒA Passage to India,Ó will be screened as the next feature in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and SciencesÕ ÒGreat To Be NominatedÓ series. The film, in which the life of an Indian doctor is turned upside down by a rape allegation, will screen on Monday, June 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the AcademyÕs Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
